Google Pixel 10 Series Launch on August 21: Design, Specs, Camera Upgrades & AI Features Revealed

The Google Pixel 10 series, one of the most anticipated Android flagship launches of 2025, is set to debut on August 21. The lineup will include the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold, with several exciting hardware and software upgrades over last year’s Pixel 9 series.

Design and Colours
Following the design overhaul of the Pixel 9 series, the Pixel 10 lineup will retain flat sides, a flat display, and the iconic visor-style camera bar. The Pixel 10 Pro is expected to look nearly identical to its predecessor, while the standard Pixel 10 could gain a triple-camera setup for the first time. New colour options include Moonstone and Jade for the Pro models and a striking Indigo Blue for the standard Pixel 10.

Performance Upgrades
Powering the Pixel 10 series will be the Tensor G5 chipset, a 3 nm processor manufactured by TSMC. This marks a shift from last year’s Samsung-made Tensor G4, promising better performance and energy efficiency. The base model is expected to offer 12GB RAM, while Pro models could feature 16GB RAM.

Camera Enhancements
The Pixel 10’s rumoured triple-camera setup may include a smaller main sensor than the Pixel 9, alongside an 11MP 5x telephoto lens and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. Pro models should retain their 50MP main, 48MP ultra-wide, and 48MP telephoto lenses, with the addition of telephoto macro capabilities.

AI-Powered Features
Software leaks suggest new AI tools, particularly in photography. The “Camera Coach” feature could provide real-time tips on composition and lighting, while the Photos app may support conversational edits, allowing users to adjust images via natural language prompts.

With its refined design, powerful new chip, AI-driven camera tools, and fresh colours, the Pixel 10 series is shaping up to be Google’s most advanced smartphone lineup yet.
